If you participate in our culture course, you are eligible for some free extra activities (study visits). Here you can find times and short descriptions of possible program visits. Let us know where would you like to participate: send your options to info@internationalhouse.ee.

NB: Some activities do not have restriction on participants number, while the others have some limitations (min/max numbers of participants). So it is first come-first served. Therefore, please mark ALL the times that suit you.

You can find the exact program in English sent to you (if you already registered) or check the timeline post on International House FB page. You can take part in anything you find interesting, but you are most welcome 13.00 to meet the people from Tallinn who participate in a similar program there. Just exchanging reflections and ideas and some coffee, tea and snacks:)

Saturday, 27.10.2018, Fantasy drama film “November” (2017) with English subtitles
13.00-15.00
Place: ENM, Hurda saal. The movie is based on the famous novel by Andrus Kivirähk’s “Rehepapp ehk November” (“Old Barny aka November“), which has become a kind of cultural milestone, and has been compared to the famous “The Good Soldier Svejk” in having the dark humour that can be claimed as being symptomatic to Estonia. The movie is acknowledged for the good camera work and visuals. Read a short review in Rotten Tomatoes or a longer review in “Variety”.

Place: ENM cafe
It is a joint party where everyone brings something from their country – food, games, maybe a dress or handicraft, maybe teaches a new alphabet and we combine it into a small festival (all groups will be together). This event requires also your own active input 🙂
